The annual Summer Lodges of Instruction at HQ were held throughout this period culminating in the Preceptors’ Dinner on the last day.

July 2013

The HFAF were present at the Province of Middlessex’s Annual Summer Fete at the Royal Masonic Girls School at Rickmansworth and received a very warm welcome from the Pro Provincial Grand Master, Roger Croome. Unfortunately the HFAF weren’t able to be present at the RMBI Fete at Stisted Court, Braintree on the same day, as our invitation was withdrawn.

June 2013

The Centenary celebrations to mark 100 years of the HFAF took place at the Grand Temple, Freemasons’ Hall, Gt. Queen Street, London on Sunday 30th June. Women in Blue, the history of the HFAF, written by Christine Chapman, Assistant Grand Master was published. Regency/Fidelity Lodge attended a Fete at Warlingham, Surrey to promote Women’s Freemasonry.

May 2013

The candidates for election to Grand Master were announced: Rt. Wor. Bro. Christine Chapman – Assistant Grand Master Rt. Wor. Bro. Hedy Babani – Junior Grand Warden.

April 2013

The Most Worshipful Grand Master, Bernice Abram accompanied by the Deputy and Assistant Grand Master visited the Isle of Man for their annual Spring Festival.

October 2013

The Most Worshipful Grand Master, Bernice Abram visited the Provincial Brethren in the North. During the trip we visited a Craft Lodge, a Royal Arch Chapter and a Royal Ark Mariners Lodge.

The Most Worshipful Grand Master, Bernice Abram made her annual visit to the Isle of Man brethren, for their Spring Festival.

February 2012

The Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master, Margaret Clarke set up a panel of speakers to talk to Women’s Groups and other interested organisations about Women’s Freemasonry and the HFAF. Anyone requiring a speaker should contact her via theĀ Grand Secretary’s office. A Mentoring Scheme was introduced under the superintendence of the Right Worshipful Assistant Grand Master, Christine Chapman. Following the successful launch of a Lodge in Romania, we are now setting our sights further afield to India, where there is much interest. One candidate has already joined one of our Lodges and from that small step we hope to establish a Lodge in Delhi.

November

The Board of General Purposes has agreed to consecrate a new Lodge to be connected to Brunel University.

October

The Grand Master’s annual visit to the Provincial Lodges in Blackpool and Morecambe was greatly enjoyed by all who accompanied the Grand Master on her travels; it being another opportunity to make new friendships and renew old ones.
