The Royal Ark Mariners No. 1 Installation meeting was held at our London HQ today and we were delighted that so many of the Brethren from our Royal Ark Mariners No. 2 came down from the North to share the happy occasion with our new Commander Hedy.

Sussex Lodge No. 17 held their Installation meeting at Lewes Freemasons Hall when W. Bro Netisa was installed into the Chair by W. Bro. Penny. The Festive Board was held at the White Hart Hotel.

The Grand Master Christine Chapman attended a meeting of Fortitude 6 to celebrate the 95th birthday of Vy Wor Bro Renee and her 62 years in the Craft.

Doric Lodge No. 11 held their regular meeting at which Bro. Marina was Initiated into the Craft. A special agenda item was a tribute to Most Worshipful Bro. Sheila Norden, Past Grand Master to celebrate her sixty years in Freemasonry. A special pamphlet was produced detailing her Masonic career.

Grand Master Christine Chapman, accompanied by Deputy Grand Master Irene Stewart and Assistant Grand Master Hedy Babani with several Grand Lodge Officers are making their annual trip to visit the HFAF Brethren in the Isle of Man. Whilst there they will attend a Craft meeting and a Mark Installation.

Lodge of Installed Masters 12 was pleased to admit the first Romanian Master of Alpha Lodge 54. Four Wardens including  the Senior Warden of  Alpha 54 were examined  and proved their skill and ability in the Master’s work.
