Grand Master's visit to the Northern Province

Our first meeting was on Tuesday 6th October 2015 when we visited Morecambe & Heysham Lodge 15 for a Passing ceremony. During this meeting the Grand Master Christine Chapman was pleased to award the OSM (Order of Service to Masonry) to RW Bro Brenda Cook, Prov. Deputy GM.

On Wednesday 7th October 2015 we visited Morecambe again for a meeting of the Cornerstone Mark 3 when the ceremony of Advancement was performed.

Both these meetings held their Festive Boards at the Headway Hotel.

We rounded off our trip with a visit to the Installation meeting of Royal Ark Mariners 2 when Bro Diane Bennett was Installed as Worshipful Commander by W Bro Cath Greenwood. This was followed by a delicious meal at Rangemoor, Blackpool provided by the amazing Margaret Tanton.

Ripcord Rosa's last leap

Our Past Grand Treasurer, Very Worshipful Rosa Kingston will be jumping out of a plane on the 14th of October in aid of the Royal Marsden Hospital’s Cancer Fund.

Rosa was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in December 2013. Under the care of the Royal Marsden, Rosa has lived to become a great grandmother and seen her grandson marry, two other grandchildren graduate from University and her daughter get engaged. Her cancer is now terminal and she wants to give something back to the hospital for the fantastic care she has received.

Tranquility 52 celebrate in style with a Masquerade Ball

28th June saw the members of Costa Blanca Lodge of Tranquility 52 celebrate the 10th Anniversary of their Consecration with a Masquerade Ball. It even made the local paper, pictured are the Officers standing ready to greet their guests.

Installation meeting of Gibraltar Lodge No. 47

The Installation meeting of Gibraltar Lodge 47 took place on Thursday 18th June 2015 at the Masonic Institute in Gibraltar. WM Marion Brown was beautifully installed by IPM Sylvia Sheriff. The meeting was held in the presence of the Grand Master Christine Chapman and the Deputy Grand Master Irene Stewart.

On Tuesday 16th June the Installation meeting of Calahonda Lodge 53 took place at the Tamisa Golf Hotel in Mijas Costa, in the presence of the Grand Master Christine Chapman and the Deputy Grand Master Irene Stewart.WM Jan Owens was beautifully installed by her IPM Alexandra Schumann.

Sussex Lodge No. 17 held their Installation meeting at Lewes Freemasons Hall when W. Bro Netisa was installed into the Chair by W. Bro. Penny. The Festive Board was held at the White Hart Hotel.

Grand Master Christine Chapman, accompanied by Deputy Grand Master Irene Stewart and Assistant Grand Master Hedy Babani with several Grand Lodge Officers are making their annual trip to visit the HFAF Brethren in the Isle of Man. Whilst there they will attend a Craft meeting and a Mark Installation.
