Isle of Man reaffirms its support for Women's Freemasonry
On Monday 7th December, the Isle of Man brethren re-affirmed their support for Women’s Freemasonry on the island at the annual Installation meeting of the combined lodges of Grace Banks-Martin 14 and Mabel Garrett 20 when W. Bro. Caroline Ronan was installed as Worshipful Master for the ensuing year. The brethren were delighted that the Grand Master, Christine Chapman was able to attend.

W. Bro. Natalie Gluckstein was Installed into the Chair for a second term of office as Worshipful Master at Doric Lodge No. 11 on Tuesday 1st December 2015.
HFAF supporting TLC

Our Northern Lodges are continuing to support the Teddy Loving Care TLC initiative promoted by UGLE. Money is raised to provide Teddies to sick and distressed children in hospitals in the area. Our Provincial Grand Master Pat Rothwell (centre), Past Provincial Grand Master Heather Hitchen (left) and Deputy Provincial Grand Master Brenda Cook (right) braved the wind and weather to meet one of the paramedics and his teddy friends.

With thy Wisdom, get understanding
The HFAF’s first University Lodge, Lodge of Wisdom 55 held its second Installation meeting at the Harrow District Masonic Centre on Sunday 25th October. It was a lovely meeting and gave the Entered Apprentices their first taste of the complexities of the Installation.
The new Worshipful Master Christine is flanked by the Most Worshipful Grand Master, Christine Chapman on the left and the IPM, Rt Worshipful Brother Levene JGr.W on the right, along with other distinguished Brethren from Grand Lodge.
The Worshipful Master, Officers and Brethren of the Lodge of Wisdom 55. The newly dedicated Banner of the Lodge can be seen behind the Brethren – it was hand made for the Lodge by Brother Pickett.
Fireworks at Justice 4 Installation
On 5th November 2015,( Bonfire Night in case you hadn’t realised), Bro. Susan Henderson was Installed into the Chair of Lodge Justice 4 by Vy Wor Bro. Marilyn Podro. The WM works at UGLE HQ so is very conversant with male freemasonry but she was overwhelmed by the beautiful ceremony of Installation.

Cotswold Lodge 51 comes to town
On 29th October 2015 Cotswold Lodge 51 brought their Installation meeting to London HQ. W Bro Margaret Jennings was Installed for a second term of office by W Bro. Eleanor Dilley.

Royal Arch Chapter Installation
On 20th October 2015, Ex Comp Maxine Priestley was Inducted into the Chair of Zerubbabel in the Royal Arch Chapter at 402 FinchleyRoad, by Ex Comp Lesley Adams, Ex Comp Gibbens was Inducted as Haggai and Ex Comp Cole was Inducted as Joshua.

Grand Master's visit to the Northern Province
Our first meeting was on Tuesday 6th October 2015 when we visited Morecambe & Heysham Lodge 15 for a Passing ceremony. During this meeting the Grand Master Christine Chapman was pleased to award the OSM (Order of Service to Masonry) to RW Bro Brenda Cook, Prov. Deputy GM.
On Wednesday 7th October 2015 we visited Morecambe again for a meeting of the Cornerstone Mark 3 when the ceremony of Advancement was performed.
Both these meetings held their Festive Boards at the Headway Hotel.
We rounded off our trip with a visit to the Installation meeting of Royal Ark Mariners 2 when Bro Diane Bennett was Installed as Worshipful Commander by W Bro Cath Greenwood. This was followed by a delicious meal at Rangemoor, Blackpool provided by the amazing Margaret Tanton.
